To me, this piece allowed me to realise just how true the phrase 'practice makes perfect' really is. I started this piece back in May but couldn't complete it due to not being able to get the look I wanted. Fast forward a few months and I'm completing a piece I never thought I'd finish.

This piece was more than anything a case study into digital painting. I'd began trying it within my Into The Spider-Verse piece but this was my first attempt at painting real faces and scenes.
This piece started off as something completely different. It was supposed to be a piece focusing on Anakin and Vader, with their respected flagships and troopers beside them. It quickly turned into a representation of the journey that Anakin took from
the final moments of Revenge of the Sith to
A New Hope, with small sprinkles of
The Clone Wars & Rebels.
Sticking to only three colours, I challenged myself when determining the light and dark shaded areas of each character. I really am particularly proud of this piece.
This was the piece that kicked it all off for me. During the first month of the lockdown I had just finished watching the final four episodes of The Clone Wars and wanted to create something that captured the bond between Commander Rex & Ahsoka Tano while they experienced the moments following Order 66.
